PAYMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

HOW TO BOOK
To make a booking you can contact us via our email to info@moonbark.mu.
The person making the booking (the ‘lead name’) must be 18 years old or over and possess the legal capacity and authority to make the booking and accepts these booking conditions on behalf of everyone in their party.
When you make a booking you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions. Once you have received your confirmation invoice, it is your responsibility to check that the information and booking details, including the spelling of all passenger names, as stated on your invoice are correct. We reserve the right to refuse to accept and/or not proceed with any booking at any time at our sole discretion. All contracts between Moon Bar’k and its clients are made on the terms of these booking conditions.
Details for terms of payment are shown on the pro-forma invoice.
All the invoices should be settled on or before due date or within the agreed credit period. If there is any discrepancy on our invoice, it should be brought forward to our notice immediately upon receipt, no reduction on our invoices are allowed at any circumstance without prior authorization.
 
 
METHODS OF PAYMENT
Moon Bar’k proposes Online Payment as per specified below:
Safe Online Payment: – Credit Card/ Debit Card – VISA, MasterCard, Maestro Card.
Once you have made the payment, our Reservations Team will send you a confirmation receipt after reviewing your payment.
Please note, all bookings are confirmed only upon submission of payment. If your credit card payment is not processed for any reason, we will notify you within 24 hours. If there is a Fare change while processing your transaction, you will be notified and you have the right to decline this transaction and you will not be charged.
Please note, all bookings are only confirmed upon delivery of complete confirmation details to the email you provided with your reservation.
In order to provide you further safety, when certain transactions are determined to be high risk by our systems, we will not process such transactions unless our credit card verification team has determined that it’s safe to process them. In order to establish validity of such transactions, we may contact you or your bank.
 
 
PAYMENT GATEWAY
All payments for Moon Bar’k online services will be made through an electronic and automated collection and remittance service hosted by MIPSIT Digital Ltd.
The Payment Gateway service is provided to you in order to facilitate your purchase of Moon Bar’k online services. Moon Bar’k makes no representation of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the Payment Gateway. You expressly agree that your use of the Payment Gateway is entirely at your own risk.
Guest card details are not received or stored by Moon Bar’k, in any form, and when a client places an order as part of the checkout process the guest is automatically taken to the BML Secure Payment facility for MasterCard and Visa card payments. The guest credit card information will be securely transmitted for transaction authorization. All payments are denominated in Rupees, US Dollars and Euro as specified in the Invoice sent.
 
 
ONLINE PAYMENT ACCEPTANCE POLICY
CONSENT
You will not be able to use this facility if you do not wish to provide personal information, as we require your personal information to process online payments you make via this website. By using the facility you are giving us your consent to use your personal information for the purposes stated above.
 
 
CREDIT / DEBIT CARD PAYMENTS TERMS
All credit cards must have a verifiable billing address.
If your credit card is declined for any reason, we will notify you within 3-4 working days, simply submitting the credit card does not automatically guarantee the booking.
Moon Bar’k bears no responsibility in the event your credit or debit card is not approved or charged. There can be many reasons why your credit or debit card may not have been approved or charged.
Moon Bar’k uses stringent safety measures for credit card payment processing.
You agree to be liable for any and all credit card payments and you agree not to dispute charges after the purchase has been made and confirmations of services have been delivered by email confirmation. You agree to reimburse Moon Bar’k in cases of charge back or credit card disputes where you have genuinely purchased a service on our website.
Online credit card transactions are authorized at the time a user or anyone acting on their behalf accepts these terms and conditions and continues with the purchase.
All bookings are not guaranteed unless you receive a confirmation number by email.

CREDIT CARD DECLINES
At the time of processing your transaction if your credit card declines; we will make all efforts to notify you by way of an email message within 3- 4 business days. The transaction will not be processed if your credit card has declined.
 
 
CANCEL AND REFUND
The cancellation must be made 5 days prior to the booking date to be eligible for a full refund of the amount paid for the booking. After this date, the amount will be partially refunded. No refund will be accepted from two days prior to the trip.
We will charge :
– a cancellation fee of 100% if the booking is cancelled 2 days or less before the booking date.
– a cancellation fee of 30% if the booking is cancelled 5 days or less before the booking date.
– no cancellation fee if cancelled 6 days before.
 
If there is bad weather and it is impossible to proceed with Moon Bar’k opening, the operator will propose a later date and reschedule the booking once the weather conditions are favourable. 
If there is no possibility of reimbursement (in the case of an upcoming flight or no availability at the operator after the bad weather), the client will be reimbursed for the amount paid for the booking date and will be asked for proof of flight ticket, for example.
 
• If there is a “no show” (most “no show” bookings are ineligible for any waiver from suppliers for refund processing), 100% Cancellation fees will be applied.
 
For private event (50% down payment made in prior to the event), we will charge :
– a cancellation fee of 100% if the booking is cancelled 2 weeks or less before the booking date.
– a cancellation fee of 50% if the booking is cancelled 3 weeks before the booking date.
– a cancellation fee of 30% if the booking is cancelled 1 month before the booking date.
– no cancellation fee if cancelled more than 1 month before.
 
CURRENCY
All prices are displayed in United States Dollars (USD), Euro (€) or Mauritian Rupees (Rs) as per specified in Invoice.
Immediate purchase: Your credit card will be charged for the full amount of your vacation Package at the time of booking in case your demand is within 2 weeks of the confirmation date.
 
IF YOU HAVE A DISABILITY OR MEDICAL CONDITION WHICH MAY AFFECT YOUR BOOKING
If you have any medical condition or disability which may affect your booking or any special requirements as a result of any medical condition or disability (including any which affect the booking process), please tell us before you confirm your booking. Changes can be done according to the cancellation policy of Moon Bar’k. In any event, you must give us full details in writing at the time of booking and whenever any significant change in the condition or disability occurs. You must also promptly advise us if any medical condition or disability which may affect your holiday develops after your booking has been confirmed.
